Key Finance Pty Ltd (“Key Finance”, “we”, “us”) is a mortgage broking business based in Ringwood, Victoria, and a credit representative of BLSSA Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 391237). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can access it or make a complaint.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the subject and your message.
- Guide downloads: your name, email address and phone number when you request one of our guides.
- Appointments: the details you enter when you book a time with us through Microsoft Outlook Bookings.
- Emails and calls: anything you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.
- Technical information: like most websites, our web server records basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and the site uses cookies (see below).
If you become a client, we will need more information, such as your income, expenses, assets, debts and identification, to work out what suits you and to arrange credit. We will explain at that time how that information is collected, used and shared, including any credit reporting that applies.
You can contact us without giving your name, but we may not be able to help you fully without it.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange appointments.
- To send you the guide you asked for.
- To provide our mortgage broking services if you become a client.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run the business and this website, such as our website host, our email provider and Microsoft (for bookings).
- If you become a client and agree to it: lenders, our licensee BLSSA Pty Ltd, and others involved in arranging your loan.
- Anyone we are required or authorised by law to share it with.
We do not sell your personal information.
Information stored overseas
Some of the service providers we use, such as Microsoft and Google, may store or process information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.
Cookies and third-party content
This website uses cookies that it needs to work properly. Some pages show content from other services, such as a Google map on our contact page and Google reviews shown through Trustindex, and we link to our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Those services may set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may not work as intended.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.
